Our wide range of programs meet people where they’re at to help secure housing.
We prevent homelessness through financial assistance to households facing eviction, provide drop-in services for people in crisis, secure permanent housing for individuals and families, and organize our community through advocacy efforts. We build supportive relationships with our participants that make it possible for us to prevent and end homelessness.
Housing
Each year, approximately 2,000 of our neighbors across Northern Cook County will experience homelessness. We operate a range of housing programs to help people move from homelessness to housing as quickly as possible.
Shelter/Drop-In
Our drop-in centers help people in crisis access the most basic necessities. While Connections does not currently operate an overnight shelter, we can connect you to resources that can help.
Homelessness Prevention
No matter what your circumstances may be, get assistance with mortgages, rent, and utilities. Connections can help you find safe housing, supportive services, or emergency assistance to help you stay in your home.
