Need Help?

With the support of our community, we provide all the things our participants need to remain stable. 
In partnership with more than 1,300 annual volunteers and 1,700 donors, we provide our participants with the tools and resources that help them move forward with dignity and confidence​.
 I AM AN INDIVIDUAL IN NEED OF SERVICES

​Visit Connections' Drop In Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 2121 Dewey, Evanston. Services available currently include: ​Showers, Limited Clothing Donations, Bag Lunches, Food Pantry, and Mail. 

Visit Connections' Drop In Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 1458 Chicago, Evanston. Services available currently include: ​Showers, Clothing Donations, Bag Lunches, Food Pantry, Locker Storage, Health Services, and Laundry. 

You can also contact our Main Office at 847.475.7070, Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

I AM AT RISK OF BEING EVICTED

​​Connections might be able to help. Please call 1-877-426-6515 to connect with the Suburban Cook County Call Center. The call center will take your information and Connections will return the call. 

I AM AN ADULT AND NEED A SAFE PLACE AND MEALS DURING THE DAY

Interfaith Action of Evanston's Hospitality Center is open Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. The Center is located ​at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1509 Ridge Ave, Evanston. Food pantry and bag lunches are available at 2121 Dewey, Evanston Monday - Friday between 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Call 847-475-1150 for information about additional meal service. 

I AM AN ADULT IN NEED OF EMERGENCY SHELTER

You can call for transportation to an emergency shelter from a police station or hospital. Call 3-1-1 if you need assistance finding the nearest police station or hospital. Please note this is not an immediate service. Notify the operator if you have special needs when you call. Click here to view a detailed list of shelters in the area.
