UPDATE ON EMPLOYMENT SCAM:
Unfortunately, scammers are posing as recruiters and pretending to be Connections for the Homeless’ staff to lure job seekers into providing personal financial information or download virus filled attachments.
A few things to be aware of: With very few exceptions, interviews are always conducted in person and at our locations. Connections never conducts employment interviews via email. Connections will never ask a new employee to provide sensitive banking or identity documents prior to working onsite for day one.
Job seekers should always confirm the legitimacy of an opening by checking this page and applying by following the instructions on this site.
We truly apologize for the cruelty of this scam, it is absolutely unacceptable. We sincerely wish you well in your employment search and professional aspirations.

Vaccination Policy
Connections for the Homeless is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees and participants. We continually adjust our practices and policies in line with the most recent health authority guidance to maintain this commitment.
We respect and uphold employees' autonomy regarding their health decisions. As such, we do not mandate any immunizations, including the COVID-19 vaccine, as a condition of employment.
Employees are encouraged to seek reliable information about immunizations, understand the associated risks and benefits, and consult with their healthcare professional to make informed choices. No employee will face discrimination based on their immunization status, and violations of this policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary procedures.
Respecting privacy, an employee's immunization status constitutes protected health information and will remain confidential. Unauthorized sharing of this information is strictly prohibited.
While vaccines provide a significant safeguard against many infectious diseases, they do not eliminate all risks. Therefore, regardless of immunization status, all employees are required to adhere to the health and safety protocols as outlined by local, state, and federal authorities. These may include future directives concerning immunizations to control the spread of communicable diseases.
For any questions or concerns, employees are encouraged to reach out to the Agency’s Medical Director or Human Resources Department. Whenever possible, we will work to provide reasonable accommodations or flexibility to address individual needs and concerns.
This Voluntary Immunization Policy, approved by the leadership team at Connections for the Homeless, is effective from July 1, 2023.
