When we moved more than 200 participants into hotels, there were dozens of operational details to manage. One challenge was figuring out how to feed everyone in our care. We immediately reached out to over 30 local restaurant partners like Found, La Principal, and Hecky’s to find a solution. “Connections has been a life saver for Gigio’s Pizzeria. Their delivery orders have helped us retain all of our employees.” Our COVID-response efforts and partnerships have shown that our vision to make homelessness, rare, brief, and non-recurring is possible. We are committed to maintaining hotel operations until we locate housing for everyone in our care, but we cannot do it alone.
